Tival colour - wood stainer penetrates deeply and enhances to the utmost the natural beauty of wood.
It is ideal for the treatment of all wood objects and/or constructions requiring staining.
This product replaces all types of dyes, stains, mordants and anilines for wood, both water and solvent based.
Instructions for use:
- Dilute the product with water or solvent until the desired colour shade is obtained.
- Approximate dilution: 1 part of stainer diluted in 2/4 parts of water or solvent for basic colours (yellow, orange, red, green, blue and black); 1 part of stainer diluted in 4/8 parts of water or solvent for wood colours (cherry, oak, walnut, mahogany, old walnut and rosewood).
- Apply with brush or sponge.
- To obtain perfect staining, the entire surface is best treated with just one coat. To colour the surface more uniformly, ensure the stainer is evenly spread before it dries.
- We advise applying 1 coat. The operation can nonetheless be repeated until the desired colour is achieved.
- Make sure the stained wood is perfectly dry (different periods of time must pass according to the type of dilution - 3/4 hours if the stainer has been diluted with alcohol or nitro thinner and 10/12 hours if it has been diluted with water).
- Begin the treatment with a specific primer sealer (Laccantica, Tampoval, Rapival 304 or Valfond 103).
- Allow to dry, carefully sandpaper and terminate with a finishing coat (Bionda, Nitrolux, Satival Nitro) or beeswax paste (Ceralegno).
