| Water-based impregnating agent for wood.
Specific product for basic treatment, decoration and protection of all wood articles for outdoors and indoors requiring high protection against degradation by atmospheric agents, mildew, fungi and parasites.
Ideal for treating and protecting doors, windows, blinds, balconies, garrets, fences, matchboards, flower boxes and all wood objects and/or buildings exposed to water and sun.
Also ideal for particular environments like the seaside and high-altitudes. It is easy to apply and is guaranteed by its "professional" quality.
It adheres perfectly to any surface, penetrates deep into the wood, does not form thickness and does not flake. It preserves wood against fungi and parasites, prevents the formation of mildew and contains special filters that cancel out the perforating action of U.V. rays.
Legnosan contains special raw materials that ensure exceptional colour-fastness over the years. Legnosan is a non-toxic water-based impregnating agent and can therefore also be used indoors without any special precautions.
Legnosan enhances and maintains the natural beauty of wood over the years.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
- Make sure the surfaces to be treated are sandpapered, dry and clean.
- Stir well before and during use.
- Apply regular layers at 3-4 hours intervals.
- Apply with a brush, roller or spray-gun.
- On new wood: 2-3 coats.
- On wood to be renovated: 1-2 coats (sandpaper and remove the old film of varnish which is not perfectly anchored to the surface).
- The treated surface will be perfectly dry to the touch 24 hours after application of the last coat.
- The implements used can be cleaned with water straight after use.
- The above treatment will fully protect the wood.
For a fuller surface that is softer to the touch, carefully sandpaper with very fine sandpaper and apply another hand of Legnosan or a hand of water-based finishing varnish (Pinteco gloss and/or matt).
