Varnish remover

Special liquid varnish remover which attacks and removes all types of varnish (nitro, synthetic, alcohol-based, polyurethane-based, acrylic, etc.) on wood, metal and walls.

Grinto is easy to use and is preferred by professional restorers thanks to the excellent results that can be achieved on all worked surfaces (engravings, feet, edges, round parts, inlaid work, etc.)

It is not dangerous, it is not messy, but breaks down the film of varnish.

Can be applied to all vertical surfaces.

Just one application is normally enough to clean surfaces.

In special cases however, several applications can be made until the desired effect is achieved.

Because it penetrates deep into the wood, Grinto is also ideal for removing varnish from wood treated with impregnating agent.

Instructions for use:

- To remove very hard films of varnish (polyurethane), before applying the product, it is best to rub first with coarse sandpaper.
The rough surface will enable the varnish remover to penetrate deeper and act more uniformly and quickly

- Using a brush, cover the surface with an abundant quantity of product, keeping the surface wet all the time.

- After a few minutes, the layer of varnish will swell and crinkle.
- Using a spatula, a scraper, a soft brush or steel wool, carefully remove all the old varnish (do not allow the surface to dry as this would call for a further application of varnish remover).

- Clean the surface well with turpentine or nitro thinner before proceeding to re-varnish..
