Ceralegno

Beeswax in paste for polishing, protecting and preserving wood.

This product is a mix of selected natural elements (beeswax, carnauba wax and pure turpentine resin).

Suitable for polishing and protecting furniture and wood objects requiring a special velvety finish and wax effect.

Ceralegno has been used for many years by cabinet makers to valorise the finish of antique and/or period furniture.

Applied regularly, Ceralegno preserves the treated parts over time and protects against scratches and dust.

It makes surfaces soft to the touch, water-repellent and brings out the natural grains of the wood.

It is easy to apply and use.

Neutral Ceralegno (containing non-yellowing waxes) and yellow Ceralegno are specially suited for polishing light wood; Ceralegno walnut and mahogany mordants are recommended for polishing and making medium-dark wood surfaces more uniform.

As a finishing product, we recommend using Ceralegno on surfaces already treated with primer (our Laccantica, Tampoval or Rapival 304); one application is enough to obtain an extremely soft-to-the-touch finish, good looks and surface wear resistance that will last for a long time.

Instrctions for use:

- To renovate and polish a surface: apply a small quantity of Ceralegno, allow to dry for 20-30 minutes and then polish with a soft cloth.

- To give a wax finish to a piece of furniture and/or wood object: apply an abundant quantity of Ceralegno, allow to dry for 10-12 hours and polish with a ball of very fine steel wool, used as if it were a cloth.
